CHARLESTON, SC- Entering the national spotlight after less than one year since it first hit South Carolina shelves, FireFly Vodka, the world's first and only muscadine wine flavored vodka, will pour at one of New York City's most anticipated events-The Henry Street Settlement's Mardi Gras Masquerade Ball on March 10, 2007. With title sponsors, including the prestigious Christie's supporting the event, more than 300 of New York's young elite are expected to attend,raising money for the nonprofit organization benefiting Manhattan's Lower East Side. So, how did this vodka catch the eye of New York's young elite? "My friends who lived in Charleston simply raved about it," says Adrianna Archer, a special events coordinator at Christie's, "And, with its Southern connection to our event, we felt as if it was a perfect fit.
FireFly will be the exclusive vodka pouring at the spring gala serving one of the evening's signature drinks in celebration of "Fat Tuesday".
